Chris Ball

Chris BallChris is Chief Executive of TAEN – The Age and Employment Network – a charity and centre of expertise in age and employment. The TUC and a number of unions are members as well as other organisations with an interest in the older worker and the labour market.

 

Prior to working for TAEN, Chris was a freelance journalist, an independent researcher on work issues and for many years, a national officer of MSF now part of Unite. Chris has researched and written on all aspects of Age Management needed in a context of demographic change and population ageing.

 

Chris is involved in several national and international projects researching and delivering support on age management best practices.  These include the ESF Age Network supporting 15 country and regional delivery bodies of the European Social Fund and (currently) a major survey of the European chemicals industry.
