Stamping out discrimination
The professional footballers association Chairman Clarke Carlisle has urged fans of the game to take part in a survey and share their views on abusive and discriminatory behaviour in grounds.
The ‘Kick it Out’ consultation look at where there has been progress over the last 20-years in tackling discrimination and what still needs to be done by authorities, clubs and fans themselves.
Clarke Carlisle said: “The responsible majority of fans are on board with stamping out discrimination, and want more to be done. They are a powerful force in football and this survey gives them a chance to have their say.”
The initiative aims to start an open debate about where the ‘right side of the line’ lies and what should happen when fans or players cross it
